This Staff level position is responsible for establishing and attaining production metrics within a medium sized injection molding facility located in Bryan, Ohio.  Key metrics include safety, scrap, on time delivery, and operational efficiency.  The facility is a USW plant which requires involvement in contract administration as well as greivance response as such employee relations plays a prominent role.  

Bachelors Degree in Operations Management, Business or similar area of concentration.

 

6-10 years of increasingly responsible roles with recent experience in directing  manufacturing activites including the direct supervision of exempt level employees.

 

Manufacturing experience within a Plastic Injection Molding facility is highly preferred.

 

Demonstrated ability to undertake employee relations issues, prior Union exposure is preferred

 

Manufacturing experience with a Tier 1 automotive supplier or direct automive experience is highly preferred.

 

Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt) is strongly preferred.

 

Demonstrated experience in leading 5S initiatives, Kaizen events or other CI efforts.
