Supply Chain Manager to move to an
Operations Manager role in 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Accountable for all aspects of site supply chain management, including demand management, purchasing, shipping/receiving, and warehouse.

·         Responsible for leading key strategic CIP projects and process improvements across the business operations; predominantly focused on production and supply chain.

·         Responsible for the strategic deployment of key corporate supply chain directives.

·         Select, develop, train, motivate, and evaluate direct staff.

·         Manage outside suppliers to assure their alignment to site business lead times, quality, and price objectives.

·         Meet the requirements of SBU's and corporate supply chain objectives.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field with MBA preferred

·         Solid, broad base understanding of Business Operations in a high mix, low volume engineered to order business.

·         Minimum 5 to 10 years of Operations and Supply Chain related experience

·         Significant lean and 6 sigma experience, with green or black belt certification preferred

·         Results oriented with a proven track record

·         Excellent Understanding of MRP systems

·         Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

·         Excellent understanding of APICS fundamentals

·         Proven leadership and supervisory skills

·         Background in strategic development of suppliers

·         Strong business acumen and excellent negotiation skills

·         Ability to interact with all levels and all functions within a matrix organization

·    10% travel required
