Operations Manager recruitment
Job Description
We are a fast growing firm that needs help with a range of tasks in managing our company including; fund operations and trade support, portfolio accounting, compliance reporting, data management, bookkeeping including banking and payroll, and marketing materials. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head of Operations and CEO to manage daily fund operations and help build a strong compliance-driven environment. He/she will also provide trade support to the Head of Trading.
Desired Skills Experience
- Numerate
- Confident user of Microsoft Office suite; advanced Excel skills
- Experience using Bloomberg and Custody applications an advantage
- Ability to work on a range of tasks and manage priorities
- Interest in financial markets with an exposure to international equities
- An understanding of various products traded, trade life cycles, market rules, operating rules and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic team
- Self motivated
- Passionate about operations and risk management
- High attention to detail
