Operations-/Reconciliation-Analyst

As a member of a small, professional team you will be responsible for a variety of demanding issues ranging from reconciliation to reporting. You ensure that all positions are reconciled with the custodian as well as with the relevant counterparties. This includes position- as well as price reconciliation with own and with third party prices. In the event of reconciliation differences you will be responsible for monitoring, investigating and resolving those breaks with counterparties, custodians and the appropriate departments. In addition you will take care of the reporting to the management, establishing statistics as well as foster on a regular cooperation with colleagues from trading and operations. Furthermore you will be able to use your talent and eagerness to learn about all kind of post trade services from processing to settlement across all asset classes. You will be part of building something rewarding and exciting. 

The successful candidate is an energetic person with a solid education and some 3 to 5 years of experience in operations, preferably in a reconciliation function with an international investment management firm or a major custodian. Core requirements include a thorough understanding of the security settlement processes, attention to details and accuracy and the ability to ask the right questions before promptly escalating issues to the relevant people when appropriate. As an open minded, supportive teamplayer with a strong self-motivation you will be able to convince professionals at all levels in various departments and counterparties. Proficient use of MS Office is essential, a solid business German would be nice to have. High quality standards, inquisitiveness as well as a positive and hands-on attitude to challenges in a fast moving environment are also required.
