Operations Risk Analyst
My client is looking for an Operations Risk Analyst to join their Risk Control and Operational Risk department. Please be advised that this position is a three month contract and is located downtown Toronto.
The Operations Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing strategies and processes to demonstrate hedge effectiveness within the companies financial guidelines, as well as attribute to financial forecasts that will impact risk assessments, and maintain the company governance framework to ensure effective delivery of key programs.
This position is responsible for providing support to the Risk Officer to deliver effective and efficient operational risk and compliance solutions in accordance with the companies operational risk and compliance frameworks and business strategy.
Applicants must have Operational Risk Experience, data governance experience pertaining to BASEL and strong understanding of Risk Control Self Assessment specific to Operational Risk.
The successful candidate will have three to five years of risk analysis experience in a financial services environment, be extremely organized with an exceptional degree of attention to detail. Applicants should be proactive and highly motivated with excellent relationship management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful applicant must be able to work independently and within a team.
