Position Description
The Operations Coordinator position is an integral part of a successful sales team in our branch offices. This position ensures operational excellence by supporting both internal and external customers. The main focus of this position is to assist the sales team with managing carrier information and ensuring the accuracy of load information within our systems.

Responsibilities 
- Build orders and loads in CHRW systems according to customer requirements specified in SOP
-Set appointments with shippers and consignees
-Tender shipments as specified in SOP (online, EDI, phone, email)
-Gather shipment status from carrier sources (online, EDI, phone, email)
- Update orders and loads with actual shipment specs and status according to SOP
-Generate customer invoices and create customer aging reports according to SOP
-Process carrier payment according to payment terms
-Generate standard reports for customers, carriers, and internal partners
- Notify Account Manager and Supervisor of exceptions to SOP
-Support quality control through the entry of quality information into systems
- Identify opportunities for increased efficiency with processes and communicate to Supervisor
- Alignment with Account Management on account control plans and performance expectations
- Understands and executes operational functions across the lifecycle of load and across customers
-Supports teammates to ensure all customers needs are met
- Answer inbound customer/vendor calls with load tender information.
-Utilize systems to maximize productivity and result
-Support growth of office through support of Supervisor projects and implementation

Required Qualifications 
- Success working in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good follow through 
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage heavy workloads
-Experience in problem solving
- Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma and Previous Industry Experience
