RN Clinic (Rad/Onc) Job
Job Description: The Clinic Registered Nurse is a licensed qualified individual with substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and nursing skills. Trained to perform patient care activities or procedures, administer medications and treatments, as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed physician. The registered nurse is also responsible for the supervision and training of other personnel in the performance of nursing activities. Basic Qualifications: Current Florida RN license required. BLS certification required within 6 months of date of hire. Other Qualifications: Nursing experience in radiation oncology or oncology experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and computer skills needed. Responsibilities include triaging calls, patient follow-up, assessing patients, medications for symptoms and patient teaching. Must demonstrate knowledge of basic computer skills. This includes training in: the electronic medical record, Internet Explorer and Mayo intranet, Timekeeping and Microsoft Word. Must be able to flex hours to meet the demands of the clinical area or take call, if required by the department. License or Certification: Current Florida RN license required. BLS certification required within 6 months of date of hire. Benefit Eligible: Yes Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Hours/Pay Period: 80 Schedule Details: Monday-Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; hours may vary. Weekend Schedule: N/A Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate for this position is $23.02 per hour.
