Operations Specialist – Sales Support recruitment
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Specialist/ Sales Support candidate to join our recently created Sales Support team. This team is responsible for supporting the Equity Derivatives Structured Sales Desks. Based on the Trading floor, the team covers all the London based country aligned Sales Teams for EMEA. The team acts as a single point of contact for Sales queries and is responsible for ensuring the timely resolution of Sales Desks queries by interfacing with the wider operations organization.
The key areas of responsibility are:
• Interacting with Settlements and Client Services teams to ensure that trades are settling in a timely manner
• Interacting with Trade Support to ensure that events are processed in a timely manner
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
- Experience and a good understanding of derivatives and securitised products
- Good understanding of the front to back processes in an Investment Bank
- Must be proactive
- Self-motivated and ability to identify and solve multi layered problems
- Excellent communication skills
- Guardianship focused, having the ability to identify risk areas and ask questions
- Multilingual - Spanish and Italian Speaker - ESSENTIAL
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
