Position Details: Job Title: Operations Support Coordinator Division: Benchmark Learning Location: Edina, MN Department: Student Services Reports to: Director of Student Experience Type of position: Full time Position close date: 04/05/12 Our team is seeking an Operations Support Coordinator to complement an already successful and talented team. This full-time position reports to the Director of Student Experience and will be a member of the Student Services team, but will work cross-functionally with Education, Sales, Marketing and other business line owners. Overview The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for details, and understands the impact that the precision in their work has on the business, our customers, and fellow employees. The candidate will question and assess for understanding so that they utilize the right tools and skills necessary for coordinating, managing and performing key business tasks. Being accountable to critical metrics, meeting timelines and specific actions are key for a successful and quality customer outcome. The candidate will be detail-oriented, have the ability to think analytically, and have proficient and accurate typing skills. Additionally, excellent people skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a strong willingness to learn and grow are of high importance. The candidate will work closely with the Scheduling Managers to assist with our training management system that schedules educators, books training rooms and documents course objectives. The candidate will successfully perform tasks, requests and special projects with the highest of quality. Some of the responsibilities may include but are not limited to: * Support and collaborate with the Education, Sales, Marketing and Student Services teams. * Enter public, private, custom and partner events into the training management system, and update these events as needed. * Perform course content changes, updates and new additions. * Maintain Instructor Skills Matrix. * Manage and monitor course request lists, and notify Schedulers when lists have reached critical numbers. * Perform special research projects and competitive analysis. * Participate in weekly Scheduling Meeting. * Document processes and best practices. * Greet students attending classes via Benchmark Learning's virtual learning solution. * Assist with student break room duties and front desk coverage. * Perform other duties and tasks as needed.
