This is a hands-on operational support role, working within the Operations Performance team in the Service Operations Operational Excellence (SO OE)Command Centre to facilitate the systems implementation of production management across Service Operations.
This role provides Production Management technical assistance and implementation of production management principles and practices to support delivery of Operational Excellence projects. Need more detail?
- Collaborate with the Production Management delivery team to ensure system changes are consistent and adhere to the Production Management framework.
- Implement structural changes to queues and time standards in line with the Production Management framework
- Produce and maintain forecast models for implementation in the Service Delivery workforce management tool, reviewing for quality.
- Support Service Operations to apply Production Management practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Utilise Service Operations standardised procedures, policies and people to achieve targets.
- Ensure consistency of Service Operations Production Management framework through strict governance of system changes and provision of SME advice.
To be successful in this role we expect you will possess:
- Experience in system administration role
- Strong analytical ability. Able to understand performance metrics and drivers; identifying anomalies, trends etc.
- Training in MTK, AOM or similar management system
- Experience in Operations Management, Business Change Management or Project Management role
- Strong analytical abilities and understanding of operations management principles and business process improvement
- Strong attention to detail and quality focused
- High initiative and self-management; able to work autonomously with limited direction
- Confidence and self-assuredness; ability to trouble shoot and think quickly and clearly on the spot.
- Strong interpersonal skills when liaising with all stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral; ability to identify issues and opportunities
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Sound understanding of project management methodology
- Sound knowledge of Banking processes and products
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to travel to different operations sites
