Job title: Optomechanical Design Engineers.
Salary/Rate: £35-45000.
Area: Cambridgeshire, East Sussex.
My clients who specialise in the development of scientific equipment in the areas of optics, photonics and lasers are looking for Optomechanical Design Engineers at two locations, Cambridgeshire and East Sussex.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of optical, laser and photonics systems.
Desirable qualifications and experience include-
• Degree and post graduate degree in a mechanical engineering discipline.
• Solidworks design experience.
• Experience with scientific design packages such as Inventor, Matlab or Labview.
• Experience in any of the following product areas, optics, lasers, photonics, high tech scientific equipment.
• Experience of the following disciplines, solid state diode based lasers, motion control, and precision mechanical assemblies.
