Oracle Applications Developer

 

Our Client is a rapidly growing human service provider looking for an ambitious and energetic team player to be part of the Information Technology team.  Reporting to the Finance Program Manager, this position is responsible for providing on-going support of and enhancement to Oracle Applications (11i). Primary job duties are to support and enhance the Oracle 11i Financials as assigned.  The modules in use at Client consist of: Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets and I-Procurement. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with the company’s Oracle-based systems in providing operational and technological solutions in response to business requirements. The selected Analyst will perform 30% functional and 70% technical role.

Responsibilities Include:

 

·         Work with the Finance Program manager to develop technology and process solutions to support company initiatives.

·         Provide functional and technical application support to the financial modules as assigned (AR, AP, GL, FA, CE, and Procurement).

·         Recommend technological or operational solutions to business challenges for the financial community.

·         Work with the other members of the development team to design, write, test and document required programming code based on business requirements.

·         Knowledge sharing of functional and technical information with other team members.

·         Estimate the levels of effort to accomplish various projects and tasks.

·         Successful at meeting established deadlines and project goals.

·         Perform application setup of key criteria, rules and other key components.

 

Requirements:

 

·         Associates Degree (Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred).

·         Minimum of 3 years experience with Oracle financial applications

·         Strong functional and technical expertise in at least 3 of the following Oracle modules: Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Procurement and Fixed Assets Experience

·         A solid understanding of all phases of Oracle financial processes and transactions.

·         Strong understanding and experience using Oracle technical tools including Forms, Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Discoverer.

·         Experience with Oracle Applications 11i in a Unix environment

·         Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

·         Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

·         Customer service attitude is a must.

·         Ability to work as an individual or in a team environment.

·         Experienced using Word, Excel
