Oracle DBA – Performance Tuning Specialist recruitment
Production Support Oracle DBA required to join a talented DBA team working on a really interesting and varied range of work covering the whole life cycle in development/plenty of project work/performance tuning/production DBA activities. Working on leading edge database technology. Leading Oracle Database environment within the investment banking sector. Business critical system experience required preferably within banking. Performance tuning Configuration management Backup Recovery Monitoring Trouble-shooting and resolution On-call production support.
Person Requirements:
Experience of supporting high availability and business critical systems in a financial environment Operational database management (Patching, Upgrades, Migrations, Release Management, DB maintenance)
Database performance tuning New project deployments
Solid understanding and experience of Best Practice Frameworks and Standards
A very strong technical skill set is required to provide service delivery Mission critical production support of Oracle Databases in large IT environments
