OTC Settlements
My client is a leading Investment Management house based in the city currently recruiting for an OTC settlements candidate to join their busy desk.
The overall function is to processing, settlement and reconciliation of all Equity, Fixed Income and Credit OTC Derivative transactions.
Responsibilities include:
· Agreeing settlement details with counterparts
· Handling settlement discrepancies through to correction and completion
· Validating Prime Broker activity reports, handling all exceptions through to conclusion
· Processing accruals, dividends and corporate actions
· Instructing payments and pre-advices to agents
· Ensuring all cash/holdings activity have been actioned correctly
· Liaising with counterparties and Prime Brokers on all payment/receipt discrepancies
· Reconcile all cash transactions on a daily basis
· Produce and maintain accurate reports of all discrepancies for senior management
· Maintain a professional and ethical relationship with all external and internal counterparties.
Experience required: -
· Degree educated, preferably industry related
· OTC Settlements experience
· Attention to detail
· Well organized and focused
· Self starter, effective team player
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Strong MS Office skills
