OUR PRODUCTS
OTR aggregates, compares and contrasts extensive marketplace data and prepares research reports for institutional investors (primarily mutual funds and hedge fund managers). Sources are interviewed via telephone, typically on a quarterly basis, which subsequently provides the basis for OTR reports. OTR's mission is to aggregate information from nontraditional sources, compare it with expectations and look for dislocations or inflection points that provide investment opportunities for our clients.

THE ROLE
The junior sales person will work with the head of sales and with senior sales people to act as sales coverage to current OTR clients. This will entail daily interactions with clients regarding OTR’s product, chaperoning OTR editors and research personnel into clients, attending client events on regular basis. This role will also involve prospecting for new clients. Salary and benefits with commission tie in.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will have primary responsibility for certain institutional clients and providing those clients with OTR’s research, research calls, events and interaction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree. No MBAs need apply.
- One to five years out of undergraduate school.
- Some sales experience in financial services.
- Tenacious, resilient and able to handle rejection.
- Enthusiastic about growth opportunities.
- Motivated by success and money.
- Strong work ethic.
- Creative skills to generate business.
- Independent worker.
