Summary
Bank of America Merchant Services is looking for an Outbound Account Specialist in Coral Springs, FL. This role will place outbound calls to customers in an engaging and energetic manner to proactively promote the Bank of America Merchant Services brand and value proposition.
• Engages customer decision-makers and explains the benefits and features of our products in a relevant way that gains the customer's interest and commitment.
• Assesses and identifies customer attrition risks and follows prescribed procedures to mitigate those risks.
• Utilizes various BAMS systems in an effort to identify, research, and resolve operational issues in response to outbound contacts.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent employment experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a financial services or payments industry Customer Service role.
• Understanding of payment industry products and services
Preferred Skills:
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to project a positive, professional, and highly enthusiastic personality via the phone.
• Ability to comprehend detailed and wide ranging procedural and product information
• Demonstrated ability to analyze customer needs and potential risks.
• PC literate and competent in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast, paced environment
