Pocono Peterbilt is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Parts Department as an Outside Sales Representative. Candidates should possess two-to-five years of sales experience. Knowledge of the heavy truck industry is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Responsibilities include seeking out new customers and soliciting parts business from designated accounts through personal and telephone contacts. A company vehicle is provided for such contacts. Parts orders are to be communicated to a parts counter person at the dealership. Ascertain the delivery date and verify its acceptability with customer. Special orders require prior approval of Parts Manager. Follow up on completed orders with customers to verify satisfaction. Coordinate service sales with service department. Be sure to update all customer data for accurate database.   

 

Applicants must have the ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain effective working relationships with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Applicant must be well-trained in the Heavy Duty Truck Industry:

 

§  High School Diploma or Equivalent

§  College Education preferred

§  Basic computer knowledge

§  Dealership and/or Peterbilt, Kenworth or Paccar experience preferred

§  Clean Driving Record

§  Valid Commercial Drivers License preferred

§  Background check and drug test
