Summary of Job
Make regular sales calls on existing and new customers. Provide follow-up on customer questions and concerns. The territory will be Southern Alberta.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Identify and discuss needs with prospective customers
- Understand and promote products services relevant to each new potential customer
- Provide customers with sales aids, brochures, catalogues, new sales programs and product training
- Introduce and set up customers on web sites and on-line web ordering
- Review and analyze customer purchases and prepare annual sales forecasts
- Develop prospect list and detail opportunities
- Maintain positive and effective customer relationships
Education, Experience and Technical Skills
- Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience
- Tire or Automotive industry experience an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- Good internet skills
Required Soft Skills Competencies
- Time management skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Mature, credible and comfortable interacting with a variety of different levels of business owners while conducting business in a professional manner
- Must work well independently and can overcome daily obstacles
