OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Our established west end client is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to cover the northern regions of Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan. If you are ready to bring your high impact sales approach, passion and integrity to this challenging and rewarding opportunity we want to hear from you!
Key Accountabilities:
- Exceeding sales targets by developing new and existing business, identifying all opportunities within marketplace
- Build and maintain meaningful and profitable relationships with customers.
- Promotion of all facets of the business and be versed with all offered products and services.
- Working inside the office as required, assisting with inside sales, following up on sales calls, making new appointments and sales call reporting
- Approximately 60-70% of the time will be spent on the road, and 30-40% in the office
- Assisting with inventory maintenance, logistics planning, and processing scheduling
- Networking and communicating with colleagues to maximize penetration of the marketplace in all the various business units
Your Profile:
- 5+ years of previous industrial sales experience and a willingness to learn the customer's business, preference will be given to individuals with history in the steel industry
- Excellent computer skills
- You will possess strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
- A self directed learner to enable you to become a product specialist
- Team player and relationship builder
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Flexibility is required
While on the road, the successful candidate will have access to a company car, a cell phone, and a lap top. The salary range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000 annually. There is also a comprehensive benefit package included.
