To continue this reputation, Koontz-Wagner is seeking a dynamic Service Sales Representative to add to our successful team. The ideal candidate would possess the following characteristics and skills:
- Calls on customers within assigned territory to promote and sell the company's products and services
- Provides high quality of service to customers by establishing working relationships between the customer and the shop
- Prepares call itinerary and call reports and submits them to the General Manager weekly
- Maintains customer files
- Establishes budgets for assigned accounts with minimal assistance of the General Manager
- Possesses sound basic knowledge of repair business and procedures
- Requires occasional minimal assistance on quoting repair of motors, generators, breakers, transformers and field service work
- Makes cold calls to prospective customers
- Required occasional minimal help to set up and oversee field service jobs
- Diagnoses most equipment problems and requires occasional minimal help in trouble shooting
- Settles customer disputes but occasionally may require some assistance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Technical college degree preferred
- 4-6 years experience in service sales
- Electric motor service sales experience preferred
- Success with sales volume in excess of $600,000
