Senior Formulation Associate Job in Hull HU11AA, Yorkshire UK
My client is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in the North East. Due to continued growth they now have an immediate requirement for a Senior Formulation Chemist to join their team.
In this role you will be responsible for supervising junior formulation chemists in a number of different product development projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship. You will ensure that all activities are compliant, write technical reports summarising formulation and process developments and assist with the development of formulations and manufacturing processes of target products. In addition, you will liaise with the Analytical teams with regards to testing of experimental batches.
You should be able to effectively manage concurrent projects with shifting priorities, develop uniform and robust formulations for multi-API formulations and manage technology transfers of formulations between plants.
It is envisaged that the ideal will have a PhD in Pharmaceutics, Chemical engineering or related discipline, although applications are invited from those with BSc/MSc qualifications with relevant experience. You should have a proven background in pharmaceutical product development of both liquid and oral dose as well as experience managing projects in line with strict timelines and budgets.
You should be a well motivated self starter who is results orientated with an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
