Our client is one of the largest Private Banks in the market with over 80 offices worldwide and offer Private Banking, Investment and Planning services to High Net Worth individuals and their families with investable assets in excess of over £5m+. They are currently seeking ambitious and highly motivated Paraplanner to work within their Private Banking office in London to deliver financial planning solutions to HNW/UHNW Private Banking clients.

THE ROLE

Working from the Private Bank in Central London you will be providing support to the financial planners within the Tax and Financial Planning team in order to deliver efficient and compliant financial planning advice to the clients of the High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth teams.

This is a paraplanner role with direct client contact with a view to developing into an adviser role 18-24m down the line for the right individual.

Key Accountabilities

· Assist TFP in building the tax and financial planning business in the High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Teams of the private bank.
· Source information for reports and prepare reports in draft for review by the planner.
· Assist the Financial Planners in their advice to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients on appropriate tax and financial planning solutions/products.
· Liaise with clients, TFP and High Net Worth / Ultra High Net Worth Teams where appropriate, to ensure smooth management of product delivery.
· Assist TFP colleagues in rolling out the tax and financial planning systems in the private bank.
· Assist the Financial Planners in the advice process to ensure that they are compliant with internal procedures and external regulations. This will cover all areas of the service including, but not exclusively:
· Account opening procedures.
· Initial client fact finds.
· Attend client meetings.
· Comprehension of complex financial planning issues / solutions and subsequent preparation of suitability letters based upon approved templates.
· Ensuring ongoing compliance including the need for annual reviews, where appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

*Diploma in Financial Planning
*3 Years minimum experience as a paraplanner
*Experience and understanding of financial planning to HNW/UHNW individuals
*Outstanding product knowledge across financial planning solutions in the UK
*Analytical and commercial with the ability to transact with financially sophisticated clients and products
*Strong communication skills – written and oral
