PARAPROFESSIONAL
Open Roads-Therapy based day habilitation program
· Assist individuals with therapy based activities such as art therapy, music therapy, exercise programs, etc.
· Provide support, evaluation and treatment to achieve OT, PT, Speech, Nursing and Behavioral objectives.
· Provide DIRECT CARE supports in a 1:1 or group setting.
· Develop member skills such as self-care, self-preservation, expressive communication, and activities for daily living.
· Serve as an appropriate role model representing RTR in a professional and positive manner.
· Implement behavior plans including physical intervention
· Assist with personal care.
· Attend community outings.
SOUTH SHORE LOCATIONS
Schedules: Full-time Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
Requirements: * Minimum of one year of previous direct care employment experience at a community facility for individuals with developmental disabilities. Maintain a valid driver’s license, BA/BS related discipline preferred. High school graduate/GED. Must be at least 18 years old. Effective communication, writing and computer skills required.
