PART QUALIFIED ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT SEMI SENIOR JOB WORKING FOR A DYNAMIC AND HIGHLY REPUTABLE ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE FIRM IN POOLE
Working with the firm's Directors and management team you will be responsible for producing statutory accounts to be filed at Companies House in accordance with UK GAAP for small, medium and large sized companies; producing iXBRL accounts for Corporation Tax purposes; planning and performing statutory and voluntary company audits, in accordance with the appropriate auditing standards; reviewing the work undertaken by other team members and attending client meetings as and when required.
The successful candidate will be working towards the ACCA qualification and have the ability to juggle professional studies alongside work commitments. They will have extensive experience in audit and a genuine enthusiasm for it and be able to prepare an accurate set of accounts in accordance with UK GAAP. As well as this they will have good technical knowledge, be able to work as part of a team, be good at working on their own initiative and strong communication skills both with clients and team members. They must be able to multi-task and prioritise own work load, have excellent report writing skills and a professional manner at all times. Strong IT skills with extensive experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Sage Line 50 and Digita Accounts Pro will be an advantage..
