Part-Time Compliance Officer
Growing and diversifying trading house seeks a part-time Compliance Officer to join their London based team. The role is for an individual to work 3 days a week reporting directly into the Head of Legal and Compliance.
You will be supporting the head of Compliance covering all activities within the day-to-day Compliance programme. This will be a broad based role covering all aspects of monitoring, AML, regulatory change and reporting with the potential to develop into other areas. The key tasks will include:
* Assume day-to-day responsibility for the monitoring programme, assisting in reviewing, developing and maintaining internal compliance processes.
* Managing the firm's compliance obligations by ensuring management awareness, training, monitoring and the maintenance of relevant manuals, procedures and guidance.
* Responsibility for the managing of relationships with regulators, exchanges and all relevant external bodies.
The successful candidate will have:
* A strong understanding of applicable regulatory rules and guidance.
* Previous experience of a trading environment and trading floor knowledge would be considered an advantage.
* Hands on experience across a broad base of Compliance activities.
