Part time Credit Collector
Hays are working with a well established Legal firm based within Nottingham City Centre, who are now seeking a strong Credit Collector to join their team of focused collection agents on a permanent and part time basis.
16 hours per week, over 2 days, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced credit collector to continue working within the accounts receivable function in a part time basis.
Responsibilities will include collection of the firms debts by telephone, email and letter with defined guidelines, Using the in house Credit Control software.
You will ensure all notes are up to date and followed up in a timely manner, and you will evaluate and refer to the credit manager as appropriate.
Organising meetings with fee earners to review outstanding debts as necessary, both in person and over the phone is part of the role, as is preparing accounts for litigation through judgement or defence and arranging the appropriate enforcement action.
You will be confident using your initiative within set limitations and you will have strong communication skills both written and verbal, and be comfortable communicating at all levels within the business.
The successful candidate will be numerate and will have the experience of Excel to a basic level, will have good negotiation skills, will be organised and have a proactive approach to their collections, will be confident and determined to see the process to conclusion.
