Manage and direct opportunities to change the Finance organisation and architecture (including data- information, processes, technology and organisation), such that all contribute positively to the realisation of the target Finance state.
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as a senior source of professional expertise and input into the development of Finance Solutions.
- Provide insightful information, guidance and advice to influence business decisions.
- Develop a network of external advisers and practitioners and advise Group of the implications of benchmark practice on new policies and practice.
- Build and maintain a cross functional internal network to optimise business results.
- Initiate and deliver agreed change programmes to achieve continuous improvement.
- Review, evaluate and mitigate potential risks.
- Deliver guidance and coaching to leadership regarding best practice opportunities to enhance the Finance organisation and architecture, such that it is optimally fit for the future.
- Apply detailed understanding of all aspects of the current Finance organisation and architecture to test and validate proposed Finance change solutions, to confirm that these will contribute positively to delivery of the target Finance state.
- Provide SME input to Finance change projects, as necessary to quality assure the target solution. Act to identify and manage or escalate risks or issues.
- May be required to travel from time to time to other locations e.g. South East, Yorkshire, Midlands.
- Prince II and-or SixSigma, strong project knowledge.
- ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA qualified useful.

- Base salary from £45,000 to £67,000 for the right candidate
