A leading, designer/manufacturer are currently looking for a qualified Part time Financial Controller to be responsible for the finance department within this SME business. As an employer who operates with various secure contracts, this immediate requirement would suit someone who has worked within an SME organisation with a strong finance accounting skill set. You will be based in there Luton office with free parking available onsite.
As the Financial Controller, your job will be to oversee one Accounts clerk, ensure accurate completion of reports, responsible for all day to day financial aspects of the business, as part of your duties you will undertake the preparation of weekly/monthly and quarterly financial reports and year end accounts. You will be happy to be hands on and will do regular reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, cashflow forecasting, multi-currency, credit control management and someone who has a strong commercial acumen. Ideally you will have confident skills within budgeting and forecasting and good technical skills.
You will have proven strong accurate reporting, ideally Navision/Dynamics experience, possess a strong all round financial accounting knowledge and ideally be qualified. You must possess a proactive self starter attitude, positive and able to embrace change yet be inquisitive and able to manage directors expectations.
