PART-TIME PURCHASING ASSISTANT Job in Piscataway, New Jersey US

Position Summary :
The Temporary Purchasing Assistant will lend clerical support to purchasing functions, perform SAP systems maintenance for purchasing functions related to OTIF (on-time and in-full order execution) and quality, maintain Excel spread sheets related to OTIF and quality KPI reporting, and perform other SAP maintenance functions related to purchase order execution and vendor management.

Position Responsibilities:
   · Review SAP vendor performance report weekly and make necessary
      adjustments needed for OTIF KPI reporting.
   · Review SAP vendor quality records weekly and make necessary
      adjustments needed for Quality KPI reporting.
   · Monitor vendor delivery status updates against SAP quantity and
      delivery dates, notify planners of discrepancies and assist in
      expediting of orders as needed.

Position Requirements:
   · Must have one year experience working with SAP in a manufacturing
      environment.
   · Must be proficient in Excel.
   · Experience working in a Manufacturing, Operations and/or Purchasing
      environment a plus.
