A part time Web Developer, with knowledge of PHP, MySQL and HTML, is required to work 3 days per week for a leading online business based in Manchester. A pro rata salary of £28k (equivalent to c£17k) is offered and this would suit a candidate looking to build a portfolio of candidates.
- THE ROLE -
This is fantastic opportunity for a candidate who will have the following:
- Proven web and database development experience
- In depth knowledge of ASP, JSP, JavaScript, CSS and (X)HTML .
- Strong database knowledge using PHP/ MySQL
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in situations
- Ability to work in a team
- DUTIES -
- To assist with the design of websites and to build/maintain them ensuring strong functionality
- To design and develop Relational database systems and their web interfaces.
- Responsible for setting up and ensuring the smooth running of the company server(s), including liaising with appropriate staff/ organisations.
- To monitor web server and site technical performance
- To assist the company directors in the planning of overall company strategy regarding web development and search engine optimisation.
