Tasks: - Manages ongoing relationships with third-party vendors, and develops and distributes promotional and communications materials. - Ensures adequate product supplies, trains vendors sales staffs, and resolves retailer/dealer/agent issues. -Serves as liaison to channel partners with regards to any sales related issues. - Performs sales activities for an assigned geographic area or product/service line through indirect sales channels to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives. - Develops quarterly programs within budgeted guidelines. - Manages assigned accounts to sales and cost budgeted objectives. - Coordinates between departments to achieve sales and cost budgeted objectives. - Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. - Drives to a new incremental monthly sales number with the partners in a region for both Hybrid Fiber Coax and Ethernet solutions - Manages group of "30 partners in a given market or region who are sub agents of a master agent or direct agents - On boards any sub and direct agents in a territory as needed - Recruit new direct partners and master sub partners - Partner with all internal Comcast Business Service departments to ensure processes and support information is up to date and accurate. - Maintain relationships with Comcast Divisional, Regional and local management on the benefits of these relationships to the overall Comcast business objectives. - Handles issues associated with channel conflict in the region - Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities - Understands the key drivers of each partner's value proposition and influences partners - Works with Regions on post sale process and ensures a productive field relationship - Interfaces with the Regions and monitors the region's survey and construction process relative to Agent orders ensuring process flow - Ensure commission disputes are handled timely and effectively with our Commission Specialist - Coordinate training for Indirect Partners on product and processes for the Comcast Business Services Solution Provider Program Requirements Requirements: - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent - Business, Marketing - - Generally requires 7+ years related experience - B.A. or B.S. Degree preferably in Marketing preferred. - Minimum 10-12 years sales and marketing B to B experience. - 5-7 years experience in indirect relationships. - Keen knowledge of the telecommunications industry and I/P packet-switched technology - Understanding of data, voice and video applications and Integrated Access Devices - Understanding of WAN, CPE and LAN architecture and topologies - Understanding of the OSI model with emphasis on layer 2 and 3 technology and construction necessary for diverse builds - Ability to build effective internal relationships with regional resources in order to support the partners - Strong knowledge of computers and the Internet (browsing, email, etc.) - Excellent oral and written communications skills. - Possess Technical Skills related to Commercial Applications (routers and Networking desired) - Team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes quickly (flexible with hours and duties). - Ability to quickly make decisions independently. - National and Regional travel required.
