Job aim:
To provide consultancy services to financial institutions in the context of Transaction Services, Payments and cash management solutions.
Key advisory and project elements constitute a multitude of topics related to process improvements, cost rationalisation and reduction, outsourcing, compliance, strategy, innovation and business value added services.
Engagements are usually fulfilled within the business areas, not technology. However, affinity with technology as an enabler is noted as key for success.
It is also expected that the experienced consultant will train and guide junior colleagues.

Our client is a young and growing consultancy firm that operates within the financial sector working with banks, asset managers, lease- and insurance companies. Their aim is to improve commercial effectiveness of operational processes. Since its establishment in 2003, this organization has grown to a company with more than 50 employees. The client always comes first and the business works from a flexible, objective, and innovative approach. To expand the services, our client is hiring an experienced Payments Consultant within Financial Services.
Academic Qualifications:

Advanced academic degree (Master’s)
General Requirements:

A good understanding of the transaction banking/services environment

Affinity with technology context of the payments and cash management solutions

Sensitive to the needs of the client, and able to work co-operatively with the client

Able to perform well in project organizations

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Key Technical Skills/ Knowledge:

Experience within the financial sector or consultancy in the area of change and project management

Good analytical skills

Knowledge of transactions, payments and cash management services
