Payroll Associate- Singapore recruitment
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Payroll Manager to plan, organize and coordinate the local Payroll activities
- Reviewing Payroll Instructions
- Checking Payroll Output
- Liaising with Payroll Vendor and other Stakeholder to resolve payroll instructions and calculations issues
- Full and final settlement for terminated employees , including IR21 withholding process
- Year end Filing
- Familiar with statutory absences (maternity, paternity etc) in Singapore and Hong Kong
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and internal regulations
- Supporting Payroll Manager during audit and other internal and external inspections
- Maintaining SLAs and KPIs
- Resolving queries from internal HR portal and other stakeholders
- Preparing Payroll Journals
- Maintaining and updating policies and procedures
- May be required to support other areas of the team on ad hoc basis
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Commerce, Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant payroll experience in a financial institution or MNC, and familiar with Hong Kong payroll regulations
- Ability to work in a voluminous and high pressured environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
