Due to the growth of the organisation, Alzheimer’s Queensland
is seeking to employ an experienced Payroll Officer to
administer the full payroll function including fortnightly pay
runs, superannuation payments, salary sacrifice and month
end processes.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the successful
candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparation of fortnight payroll
- Superannuation payments and reconciliations
- Management of personnel files
- Interpretation of relevant aged care and community awards
- Employee related pay queries
- Liaising with the Finance Department in regards tomaintenance of costed rosters, and analysis of variations between fortnightly payroll and costed rosters
- End of month financial reporting
- Assisting HR Manager with administrative tasks within the HRdepartment
You will also possess excellent verbal and written
communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem
solving skills. Previous experience with Meridian payroll system
will be highly advantageous.
