Role and Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
- Ensure all Pay Element upload file (PE upload) / Payroll Change Notifications (PCN) and overtime/expenses claim forms for the month are received on a timely basis and are properly authorised by Human Resources / Ask HR Service Centre, IAM, Benefits team before payroll processing.
- Control check on PE, PCN and overtime/expenses claim for reasonableness and completeness.
- Perform control checks for SOX / Headcount report.
- Clear payroll error / issue log.
- Perform control check for Payroll Register Report (PRR) / Gross to Net (GTN), Payroll Variance Report (PVR), and Payroll Summary Report (PSR).
- Managed funding in Payroll bank account to ensure no bank overdraft.
- Reconciliation of Bank Summary report / Payment Listing and ensure payments are duly authorized and release on time.
- Tax filing for leaver is done as per each country legislation date line to the country Tax Authority, i.e. IR21 for Singapore, IR56F/G for Hong Kong.
- Perform monthly reconciliation for bank statement, pension, withholding report and others.
- To meet the monthly or quarterly statutory reporting and payments deadline per each country’s regulatory legislation.
- Prepare payroll account journal and liaise with Payroll Accounting team for any accounting matter.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of payroll working experience in a MNC.
- Experience in Asia Pacific country payroll processing, preferable.
- Knowledge of pension schemes, taxation and legislation surrounding payroll.
- Good understanding of Payroll Accounting.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Able to work independently under high pressure and is deadline focussed.
- Problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to details and meticulous.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
