Payroll/HR Assistant

Our client has a full time permanent opening for an experienced HR Specialist and Payroll Administrator Qualified candidates MUST have recent experience working in an HR/Payroll position, heavy on the payroll side. Core Payroll responsibilities Included (70% of the job will be Payroll): - Input and balance all time for all locations and departments - Input and balance commissions, bonuses, expense reimbursements, driver trip sheets, technician cards and all other miscellaneous items - Review and process general ledger upload for the bi-weekly payroll - Verify attendance time available (vacation, sick/personal) - Monitor and update processes and procedures on all payroll functions - Complete quarterly and year end balancing Working hours: 9-5 Core Human Resources responsibilities Included (30% of the job will be HR): --Reconcile and process monthly payments for all insurance carriers --Maintain employee personnel and medical file information --Serve as a back up to the HR Manager for the hiring process, including entering job postings and completing background and reference checks --Complete annual requirements for total compensation statements, EEO1, Vets 100, AAP Compliance, etc --Union Payroll Experience a major plus Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
