Description
This position is responsible for:
- Driving product line sales within all PC Connection sales subsidiaries
- Participating in customer meetings and briefings to provide technical input.
- Executing necessary internal components of Marketing/Merchandising Programs and strategy in cooperation with Product Management and Manufacturer including training of appropriate staff (Support, Sales, etc).
- Engaging with outside Field/Technical Sales organizations.
- Prospecting into untapped Manufacturer Field Sales organizations to open new streams of sales and leads.
- Tracking, driving and promoting Regional Sales Initiatives, Callout and Leads Campaigns.
- Analyzing current PC Connection sales trends to identify sales personnel not keeping pace with National Market Share or Internal Share of business.
- Engaging with Sales Organization based on Data Mining, Opportunity Uncovering and Deficiency Identification Efforts.
- Monitoring and participating in effective execution of Special Pricing Programs and Requests in cooperation with Vendor Pricing organization.
- Monitoring and Participating in effective execution of Other Key Manufacturer Programs.
- Providing last-line-of-defense support and assistance to Sales Support personnel via the Call Center.
Required Skills
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/Computer Science or equivalent.
Ability to interact at all levels of Management internally, with Customers and with Suppliers.
Requires proven solution development and presentation skills.
Requires strong business analysis skills, strong negotiating, selling, communication and organizational skills.
Requires demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Requires proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word and relevant business systems tools (JDE, Product Wizard, Business Objects, etc.)
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/Computer Science or equivalent.

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

- Minimum five years sales experience required.
- Marketing experience preferred.
- A background in Hewlett Packard storage servers is preferred.
