PDMS Project Technology Coordinator
Primary Job Responsibilities * Responsible for piping support, training and administration on work-shared PDMS projects in Houston. Candidate will be the Project Technology Coordinator (PTC). * The PTC will be the project point person for the DTS department on the project floor. They will functionally report to the Project Engineer while administratively reporting to DTS management. This person is the primary liaison between the project and the DTS department. * The PTC provides comprehensive technical support for input interface, production and output deliverables to meet the project requirements for design applications. In this role the PTC will provide project support from kickoff through completion of final deliverables. * The PTC will be responsible to create the Project Operating Procedure (POP) which spells out the tools used by the project team along with information of project setup and deliverables. * The design technology tools are crucial elements in execution of any project today. To ensure these tools function properly and provide the deliverables expected, the PTC directs the necessary support throughout the project. During the initial phase of the project the PTC along with the DTS local management will review the input information and required deliverables to properly setup the design tools. During execution the PTC directs appropriate resources to provide support to the project. Training and Experience * Requires 15+ years combined experience with Process Piping Design and PDMS CAD Support. * Bachelors Degree is required. * Candidate must be able to travel to various locals in the USA and Mexico. Other Essential Functions The knowledge and the ability to effectively pipe using Intergraph s PDS product is considered a strong plus since a large number of designers will come with PDS skills and will need to embrace PDMS.
