Duties and Responsibilities Provide academic support to students who are having difficulties with college courses in Business Related Courses (Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing. Assist students with assignments, study skills, comprehension of reading materials, and preparing for tests. Also, peer tutors may serve with special needs as notetakers, note-transcribers, general scribes, and test-readers. Peer tutors are students who have demonstrated proficiency in college courses. Tutoring provides students with opportunities to enhance interpersonal communication skills and ability to explain information. Minimum Qualifications Must have sophomore, junior, or senior rank; have general computer skills in word processing, Blackboard/Vista, and using the Internet; must have a 2.5 overall GPA; must have a 3.0 GPA in the courses being tutored; must complete a one-hour course ACCS 1110-01 - online Tutorial Practicum Required Skills: Preferred Qualifications Special Conditions Additional Questions Keyword Search Student Appointment Length Spring Semester Base Hourly Rate $7.25
