Current SSBI/Special Programs Access - US Citizenship Required about security clearance definitions Position Description We are currently seeking experienced Senior Language Analysts in Somali, Indonesian (non Bahasa) or Serbo-Croatian languages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing translation and analysis to support requirements and tasking; the use of cultural, language and religious knowledge of Somali, Indonesian (non Bahasa) or Serbo-Croatian to review open source information, write reports, summaries, gists and translations; brief leadership on analysis. Advanced knowledge of cultural, linguistic, religious and current issues in Somalia, Indonesia or Serbo-Croatian is preferred. Advanced knowledge of the English Language and Western Culture preferred. Functional knowledge of office computer systems. Ability to independently interface with clients and co-workers and communicate clearly and concisely in oral and written form. Requires familiarity with web browsers and internet operations. Requires native level fluency in Somali, Indonesian (non Bahasa) or Serbo-Croatian and the ability to pass a standardized language test with a level 4. Do you have experience speaking and translating Somalis, Indonesians (non Bahasa) or and Serbo-Croatians? Typical Education/Experience Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 5 - Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
