Pensions Administrator

Location: Bromsgrove, Mid
Salary: 20,000.00 - 30,000.00 GBP /year

An independent firm of actuaries and consultants offering a full range of professional services to pension schemes, insurance companies and friendly societies is looking for an experienced Pensions Administrator to join their team in Bromsgrove.

This role requires somebody to undertake all routine administration tasks on a portfolio of occupational pension schemes. Duties will include maintaining scheme databases, calculating member benefits, processing member events, year-end processes and producing benefit statements.=

The ideal candidate will have relevant Financial Services experience or a background in DB pension administration. Excellent communication skills is key as the successful candidate will be required to liaise with clients and third party bodies such as DWP, HMRC and The Pensions Regulator.

The ideal candidate will have a GCSE Maths and English at grade C and above and good progression with a PMI qualification such as QPA. A willingness to progress towards a professional qualification would be a benefit; however proven experience in the role is more desirable than an academic achievement.
