Performance Analyst (12 month temporary position) recruitment

Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Performance Analyst to join our Equities team as a 12-months maternity cover. The successful candidate will work within the Performance Analytics team, and will be responsible for ensuring that only the highest quality data is used for performance calculation and reporting. The individual will be providing and explaining performance and attribution figures on equities and multi-asset funds.

Key responsibilities

*Run daily exception reports to uncover potential data errors
*Investigate data issues, using the appropriate contacts in Investment Operations and vendor systems such as (Factset/Bloomberg/Datastream)
*Sign off individual funds and benchmarks on a monthly basis once data is clean
*Provide Factset Multi-Asset attribution analysis
*Run APT risk reports and Style Research reports
*Dealing with ad-hoc queries from fund managers, investment specialists and strategists
*Maintain attribution models and sector, market cap and bespoke classifications
*Provide general support to performance team

What we are looking for
Proven Performance Measurement experience within an investment management environment is required.

A fast learner who will work well both with colleagues and alone, the individual must demonstrate a very high attention to detail, with proven problem-solving ability in a deadline-driven environment. The role demands good Microsoft application skills, in particular Excel. The right candidate will be encouraged to identify and implement possible efficiencies in the systems and procedures he or she is using.

Systems: Strong excel skills, Xamin, Micropal, DataStream, Factset, APT, Style Research and Bloomberg

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be educated to a degree standard as a minimum. Preferably IMC and/or CIPM.
