Full Job Description

Your main duties will be handling claims from cradle to grave. You will typically liaise with brokers, policyholders third parties, reporting directly into the Branch Manager. Your main duties will include:
- Responsibility for the management of you own claims from cradle to grave- Investigate and resolve in a professional manner with minimum leakage.
- Appointment of relevant parties to ensure that the claim is dealt with in accordance to the nature of the claim, alongside the best interests of the client.
- Ensure that reserves are agreed with accuracy in correspondence to company policy and personal authority limit, are maintained vigilantly and kept up to date.
- Support relationship developments with internal and external parties to enable the claims function to fully support their needs.
- Provide active support to management in the development of new best practises in line with strategy

The ideal candidate will have had 1-3 years handling Personal Injury, EL, PL claims in either a companies market or London market Capacity. You do not need to have worked in London before and will be given the opportunity to develop within these lines of business and learn new ones. The successful candidate will be able to use their own initiative in order to resolve complaints or queries and have excellent communicative and customer service skills.
