Personal Tax Associate
A Top 10 accountancy firm are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual to join their firm as Personal Tax Associate.
This leading professional services firm focuses on a range of international groups, SMEs and owner-managed businesses, providing a full range of tax, accounting and business services. As Personal Tax Associate, you will be responsible for a portfolio of personal tax and partnership clients. You will prepare complex personal tax returns for high net worth individuals and partners as well as partnership tax returns and computations for large professional practices and property investment partnerships. Additionally, you will be involved with tax planning, including capital gains tax, offshore trusts and inheritance tax.
You will have the opportunity to develop your advisory skills and work on one off technical assignments for new and existing clients. Reviewing tax returns prepared by junior members of staff and involvement in business development activities will also be aspects of the Personal Tax Associate role.
This role would suit someone with a CTA qualification with a minimum of 5 years personal tax experience in a compliance and advisory role, dealing with high net worth individuals and partnerships. Your CV will need to demonstrate strong tax technical skills, including examples of technical work. This role requires enthusiasm and will involve working under pressure, especially in January, so reliability and initiative are imperative. In addition to this, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
