Corporate Tax Associate
A Top 10 accountancy firm are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual to join their firm as Corporate Tax Associate.
This leading professional services firm focuses on a range of international groups, SMEs and owner-managed businesses, providing a full range of tax, accounting and business services. Having recently experienced significant growth, this firm is able to provide excellent opportunities for progression and a structured career development programme for ambitious candidates.
Your main purpose as Corporate Tax Associate will be to act as day-to-day point of contact for clients and be responsible for the business and corporation tax compliance service. You will advise on payment of tax liabilities as they become due, preparing and submitting tax returns and supporting computations. Additionally, it will be your responsibility to review work completed by junior staff and assist in their training and development. This is an excellent opportunity to get exposure to both compliance and advisory work and develop your skills in these areas.
This role would suit someone with a CTA or ACA qualification, although a study package can be offered for those with an ATT with first time passes. 3-5 years’ experience within a corporate tax/ accounting role is preferential as are excellent communication skills as you will need to be able to liaise both externally with clients and internally with Tax Managers and Partners. You will be given a lot of responsibility for running a portfolio from an early stage. This role is ideal if you are looking to develop your career in Tax within a Top 10 accountancy firm.
