The production inspector will work in the capping department, off-line inspection area, and packaging department and therefore must be knowledgeable of procedures and equipment in each of the areas. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES -Inspects products for various defects visually. -Sets-up, adjusts, and operates equipment such as inspection machines, cappers, labelers, etc. -Performs and documents critical start-up procedures for filling operation such as filter integrity test, line clearance, component verification, etc. -Counts and verifies accuracy of product, labeling material, and components used. -Performs and documents quality checks on product. -Calculates percent defective on inspection results and reconciles components on batch record. -Loads and unloads vials from turntables. Stacks, wraps and moves pallets of product. REQUIREMENTS High School graduate or equivalent One (1) to three (3) years pharmaceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing experience Basic math skills to perform required calculations (multiplication/division) Visual ability to detect defective vials Good written and oral communication skills Client specific background requirements and drug screen Must be available to work 3rd shift on a rotating schedule Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the work location Must be dependable, this is a temp to hire opportunity Please email resumes to tobie.
