JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Physical Therapist

The right candidate for the job will need to be flexible:

   1 day a week will be in outpatient ortho at one hospital, 1/2 a day per week in the schools and the remainder of the week at a 2nd hospital which will be a mix between IP, SNF, OP

      (The 2 hospitals are 20-30 minutes apart)

 

·        8am -5pm, with 1 Saturday a month

·        Responsible for overall delivery of physical therapy services effectiveness of those services

·        Provide supervision to the PTA’s and work collaboratively during the delivery of services

·        Responsible for performing patient evaluations, developing interventions and establishing individualized plans of care with input from patients/families

·        Adhere to the policies and procedures of the facility, state, Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice for PT

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·        Must be a graduate of a fully accredited school for PTs

·        Must be certified by the National Board of PT

·        Must have a valid North Carolina PT license by commencement of employment

·        Must have current CPR Certification
