P&L Analyst

 

Reporting includes production and analysis of daily pl and B/S for all Treasury relationships and products in BANA London and BASL. Product set covering Treasury funding accrual positions, Liquid Assets and IR/FX derivatives.

Requirement to become a Treasury core associate to manage relationships in inter-company and intra-company, leveraging multiple core stakeholders.

Expectation to complete and assist in analysis of the business and downstream reporting.

Participate in changing infrastructure decisions and managing the impacts on the above.

Pro-actively manage their responsibilities with the support of the wider team and business.

 

The candidate should be looking to begin a career within a banking Middle Office function; no significant prior Middle Office experience is required. 

The role will enable the gaining of strong PL and B/S experience, ability to display good judgement and involvement in a restructuring/change effort. The candidate should be proactive and be able to form ideas and suggestions to other team members.

The candidate will enjoy the challenge of change, have a solid academic background, and be confident in networking with other key stakeholders (particularly Finance and Front Office).

The ability to study towards a professional qualification is required (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, etc).

The ideal candidate should bring good system skills to the role such as MS Excel.
