Planning Analyst – Group Management Reporting recruitment
With an increased focus on forward looking analysis within the Bank, an opportunity exists for a Planning Analyst to help develop and grow the planning function, assisting in the roll out of an improved planning process across the Group. Key duties will include:
• Provide support to the Senior Planning Analysts and the Senior Manager Business Planning for the production of the Group’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Perform analysis to verify and confirm accuracy of all Board documents produced by the Planning function.
• Maintain and develop key models / excel schedules sourced from Group databases and other inputs, outputs from which will help to drive key analysis for senior management.
• Provide input and assistance in Latest Estimates, Peer Review, Stress Testing and ad-hoc projects.
• Act as a key bridge between system/process and analyst teams.
• Continuous liaison with Group Analysts, Global Businesses, Group Strategy Planning and Regional/Site finance teams to facilitate a joined up approach and to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally be a professionally qualified Accountant with financial services experience as well as strong analytical and planning skills. The role will require strong commercial skills, a good grasp of business drivers and a pro-active approach to problem solving, as well as well-honed influencing skills.
