Plant Accountant
Hays are currently working with a global manufacturing business located in Birmingham. Due to a sustained period of expansion there is now an exciting opportunity for a plant accountant to join this world leading business on a nine month interim contract. The business is growing at an impressive rate and they're focused on keeping and developing the best people. The job has the potential to go permanent for the right person.
The plant accountant job is a key position within the finance department. Reporting directly to the finance director, the successful candidate will be required to drive forward the finance process, reporting and systems to add value to the operation. You will also be responsible for the month end process and analysis tasks. Control and reporting however are a key element to the role.
The ideal candidate will be available at short notice and currently be working within the manufacturing sector. SAP experience is a bonus as well as advanced excel skills. The role will be well suited to somebody who is part qualified ACCA or CIMA. You must have strong communication skills,be highly motivated and be able to demonstrate flexibility.
